Ovidius Medical Ltd is committed to achieving Net Zero emissions by 2050.

1.Baseline Emissions Footprint

Baseline emissions are a record of the greenhouse gases thathave been produced in the past and were produced prior to the introduction ofany strategies to reduce emissions. Baseline emissions are the reference pointagainst which emissions reduction can be measured.

Direct Emissions

Ovidius Medical Ltd are a third-party distributor and therefore do not own any machinery for production purposes.

In the Company’s mission to be an energy efficient Company our employees are remote workers and Ovidius Medical Ltd do not own facilities nor vehicles.

Therefore, no data is required for submission for scope one.
Scope 2

Indirect Emissions

As a third-party distributor Ovidius Medical ltd does not produce indirect emissions from the generation of heat, steaming or cooling from manufacturing plants and/or offices.

Energy used to power the third-party warehouse are included as part of the lease agreement and so cannot report these.

Electric and heating for the remote and work from home employees – laptops, computers,and phones, as well as lighting, food and drink preparation equate emissions.

Total estimate CO2 1.5 t per annum calculated usingthe examples of energy consumption in the “How to measure the carbon impact of working from home report”.
Scope 3

Indirect Emissions from Other sources

As a third-party distributor we do not produce or own any capital equipment, nor the waste associated with these business activities.

Remote working eliminates the need for the daily commute so Ovidius Medical Ltd is not reporting any emissions for commuting.

Waste generation in operations. We do not have specific data on waste generated as an organisation as this is managed as part of the lease agreement with the warehouse facility.

As a medical device distributor, we utilise third party courier for transportation of goods. This is calculated at: CO2 32t per annum in 2022, this is inclusive of upstream and downstream transportation.

For business travel for employees the emissions in 2022 are calculated at CO2 29.5t

As a third-party distributor we import goods from global suppliers, currently do not have visibility to the upstream production emissions of our suppliers.

DHL Customer Emission Report
Asa third-party distributor we do not produce or own any capital equipment, northe waste associated with these business activities.

Remoteworking eliminates the need for the daily commute so Ovidius Medical Ltd is notreporting any emissions for commuting.

Wastegeneration in operations. We do not have specific data on waste generated as anorganisation as this is managed as part of the lease agreement with thewarehouse facility. We estimate emissions to be negligible/below 0.01 tCO2e

Asa medical device distributor, we utilise third party courier for transportationof goods. This is calculated from our customer emission yearly report at: CO2 10t per annum in 2025, this is inclusive of downstream transportation. Downstreamemissions are calculated as follows:

· Pickup & Delivery:0.588 tCO2e (588 kg).
· Road Linehaul:0.295 tCO2e (295 kg).
· Facilities:0.060 tCO2e (60 kg).
· Air Transport:0.002 tCO2e (2 kg)

For business travel for employees the emissions in 2025 are calculated at 9.6 tCO2e. This is broken down into 0.7 tCO2e for train travel and 8.9 tCO2e for car travel.

As a third-party distributor we import goods from global suppliers, currently do not have visibility to the upstream production emissions of our suppliers. We are committed to working with our suppliers to obtain more granular data for future reviews.

3. Emissions reduction targets

To continue our progress to achieving Net Zero, we have adopted the following carbon reduction targets.

· We project that carbon emissions will decrease over the next five years to 9.4 tCO2eby 2031. This is a reduction of 25%

We are committed to improving Scope 3 data coverage over time and achieving full net zero across all relevant Scope 3 categories by 2050


4. Carbon Reduction Projects

Completed Carbon Reduction Initiatives

The following environmental management measures and projects have been completed or implemented since the 2025 baseline.

· Ovidius Medical Ltd is a paperless Company, we no longer provide any customer brochures, and all customer communication is electronic. All internal documentsand communications are also paperless.

· Ovidius Medical Ltd has swapped to a UK green courier service to considerably reduce UK emissions

· Plastic reduction – employees that travel on customer visits take water bottles and reusable coffee cups to reduce the number of emissions from producing plastic.

· Reduction on business travel, further transitioning to virtual meetings where possible.  

· Use of train travel over modes of transport such as plane or car where possible 

In the future we hope to implement further measures such as: 

· Assessment of road travel vehicles and transition to more efficient cars.


5. Declaration and Sign Off

This Carbon Reduction Plan has been completed in accordance with PPN 06/21 and associated guidance and reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans.

Emissions have been reported and recorded in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the GHG Reporting Protocol corporate standard[1] and uses the appropriate Government emission conversion factors for greenhouse gas company reporting[2].

As a company with less than 36 GBP million annual turnover, Ovidius Medical ltd is not required to report emissions in accordance with SECR requirements.
